Printing on Unusual Substrates

There are often occasions where, for one reason or another, printing on paper or card just isn’t going to measure up to the job.  Here are a few examples of unusual substrates and the sorts of applications where thy might prove useful.

  • Teslin – water proof “paper”. Actually not paper in the traditional sense but ideal for applications where documents may be exposed to harsh or damp conditions such as Workshop Manuals. Cheaper and faster to produce because there is no need to laminate.
  • Transparencies – for OHP presentations or report overlays.
  • Docucards – peel off credit card sized cards mounted on an A4 sheet. The professional solution for applications such as conference registrations, temporary ID cards and Club Membership Cards.
  • Gloss White vinyl-type material with a self adhesive backing – perfect where short run applications are required for Washrooms, Workshops and Food Processing Areas. (not actually made of vinyl but is waterproof and long lasting – suitable for indoor applications only)
